Dress for Success
In 2006, Crest Cleaners entered a partnership with Dress for Success®, an international organization that offers professional training and clothing to low-income women. Since then all Crest dry cleaning locations have accepted gently worn women’s suits and business separates, which are then cleaned and pressed for free. Dress for Success will offer tax donation forms to those who supply professional clothes.
Beginning July 1, 2009, donors can drop off suits during normal business hours at the following Crest locations:
- Huntsman Square Shopping Center • Springfield, VA
- Muddy Branch • Gaithersburg, MD
- Hayfield Shopping Center • Alexandria, VA
- Franklin Farm Village Center • Herndon, VA
“We are honored to be the selected charity benefiting from Crest Cleaner’s generosity and support of the community,” said Jennifer McNulty, executive director of Dress for Success’s Washington, D.C. affiliate. “Dress for Success Washington, D.C. will be able to better support women in need in the D.C. metropolitan area because of our new partnership with Crest Cleaners.”
