Crest Cleaners and Dress For Success® Unite to Provide Suits for Disadvantaged Women
Partnership Will Assist Women Entering the Workforce by Collecting and Cleaning Professional Attire
252006
Crest Cleaners proudly announces its partnership with Dress for Success®, an international organization that offers professional training and clothing to low-income women.
Beginning Oct. 1, individuals can bring their gently worn women’s suits and business separates to any of our locations throughout Virginia and Maryland. Crest will clean and press the suits before they are collected by Dress for Success.
Crest’s support for community organizations dates back to its founding in 1941. “Of all the organizations we researched, Dress for Success truly stood out as the best fit for a partnership with Crest,” said Mike Conti, chief operating officer of Crest Cleaners. “Dress for Success does so much to help women develop professional careers and succeed. We are thrilled to be part of this program.” Dress for Success will offer tax donation forms to those who supply professional clothes. Donors can drop off suits during normal business hours at any Crest location.
“We are honored to be the selected charity benefiting from Crest Cleaner’s generosity and support of the community,” said Jennifer McNulty, executive director of Dress for Success’s Washington, D.C. affiliate. “Dress for Success Washington, D.C. will be able to better support women in need in the D.C. metropolitan area because of our new partnership with Crest Cleaners.”
